NEW YORK PROGRAM

The New York program is an initiative that focuses on financial fraud and online scams prevention, protecting the immigrants, refugees, new arrivals, the poor, elderly, disabled and other vulnerable residents. 

The program targets such financial fraud and online scams as:

- identity theft 

- Government impersonation scams 

- Employment scams

- Housing and rental fraud 

- Cryptocurrency investment fraud 

- Travel/visa scams 

- Romance scams 

- Banking and wire transfer fraud 

- Online marketplace scams

- Social media scams 

We provide:

- Community education workshops

- Community Ambassador program 

- Digital safety campaign 

- Victims referral networks

These we do through building partnerships with:

- Community organizations 

- Faith-based organizations 

- Financial institutions

- Educational institutions 

- Government agencies 

- Volunteers and supporters
