Mazik Foundation for Consumer Rights (MFCR) is anon-governmental consumer rights advocacy organization that works to strengthen the efficacies of both providers and consumers of goods and services in Nigeria, through astute capacity building, incisive technical support and skillfull representation.
Mazik Foundation for Consumer Rights was registered in Nigeria by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in February 2024 and is certified by the Department of Budget and Economic planning under the Ministry of Finance. Mazik Foundation for Consumer Rights Inc. was incorporated in New York State, USA on June 13, 2025, and is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. We are proud members of Consumer International.
Mazik Foundation Consumer Rights (NIGERIA) AND Mazik Foundation Consumer Rights Inc. (New York) are two different legal and financial entities but have a collaborative operational agreement.

Our proactive interventions to promote consumer fidelity in Nigeria is accomplished through:
MEDIATION:
We apply this structured interactive process as an impartial party to assist disputing parties in resolving their conflict(s) using specialized communication and negotiation techniques that focus primarily on needs, rights, and interests.
RECONCILIATION:
We engage in this form of dispute resolution which has much to do with moving from a place of disagreement, unhappiness, and dissatisfaction to a place of remediation (redress).
PEACE BUILDING:
We provide valuable knowledge and requisite skills to products and services providers and consumers to resolve their perceived or actual injustice in nonviolent ways and to transform the conditions that create conflict(s) into sustainable peace.
LEGAL ASSISTANCE:
We provide legal assistance in support of consumers who seek redress, whenever the need arises, and on mutually agreed terms.
